All participants will have a chance to ride top horses in their respective flatshod divisions including a World Champion and Supreme Versatility Champion.
This clinic is open to all gaited horses and gaited horse lovers. You can bring your own horse to the clinic, or you may chose to come without your horse and ride the horses at Cheveaux. The clinic will feature gaits and gait modification, and ways to get the most out of your Tennessee Walker by recognizing their strengths & weaknesses. Improve your riding skills and come away with a concrete game plan for training to achieve the results that YOU want.
The clinic will be conducted by Diane Gueck, 2008 Celebration Hall of Fame inductee and winner of the 2007 TWHBEA Instructors Lifetime Achievement Award. Diane has won 36 world championship titles with her flatshod Tennessee Walkers, using all natural training methods.
Sharon Gueck DeFord, world champion rider and trainer of Supreme Versatility Champions, as well as one of the Northwest’s top handers of weanlings and yearlings will be on hand to work one on one with clinic participants along with Heather Fitzgerald, Cheveaux’s Assistant Trainer. Heather’s gentle touch and positive attitude make her a behavioral specialist, instilling confidence into even the most sensitive horses.
You won’t want to miss this hands on clinic offered by Cheveaux Stables, so call or e-mail to reserve your space. There are several hotels nearby, or you can bring your RV. Limited electricity available on a first come, first serve basis.
The clinic will take place from 9:00 – 4:00 on Friday and Saturday, and from 9:00 – 1:00 on Sunday. Coffee & pastries will be available in the morning and lunch will be provided by Cheveaux Stables on Friday & Saturday.
Attendance fee with your horse (includes board at CTS): $200.00
Attendance fee with no horse: $100.00
